We’re looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead our new Belfast centre, driving high-quality delivery of the Department for the Economy’s (DfE) Skills for Life and Work programme.
This project supports young people, giving them the chance to develop skills, gain work experience, and build pathways into sustainable employment. As Delivery Manager, you’ll ensure the programme runs seamlessly, overseeing staff, compliance, and performance so that every participant receives the best possible support.

TL;DR: Location: Belfast Contract: 35 hours Salary: £30 - 35k doe
Role Purpose: You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Belfast centre, ensuring the Skills for Life and Work programme is delivered to the highest standard. That means managing staff, maintaining compliance, and creating an environment where young people can gain qualifications, access work experience, and take confident steps towards employment.

Your Role: What You’ll Achieve
At Get Set UK, our Delivery Managers are trusted leaders who blend strategic oversight with day-to-day visibility. You’ll lead by example, ensuring the centre is running smoothly, contract outcomes are met, and staff are well supported.
In this role, you will:
- (Strategic Direction) Manage the successful delivery of contract objectives, performance targets and participant outcomes, working closely with regional and central teams.
- (Deliver Results) Oversee daily operations, support frontline staff, and ensure delivery is compliant with funding requirements and aligned to our service standards.
- (People & Communication) Lead, coach and develop the centre team, ensuring they’re equipped, confident and supported. Champion clear communication and team culture.
- (Get It Right) Take ownership of safeguarding, health & safety, GDPR, and audit readiness. Maintain a safe, professional and inclusive centre environment.
- (Business Acumen) Monitor and report on performance data. Manage centre risks and resources effectively, and make continuous improvements to maximise contract success.

Who You Are
You’re a natural leader with operational experience, a strong grasp of contract delivery, and a people-first approach to management. You bring confidence, structure and calm energy to busy days, and you’re passionate about delivering excellence with integrity.
. Specifically, you bring:
- Experience managing people and/or contracts in employability, skills, welfare-to-work or community services
- Experience running or coordinating a centre, hub or multi-service site
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety and operational compliance
- Excellent communication, people management and organisational skills
- A track record of leading teams to meet targets and deliver outcomes
