Can I borrow 30 seconds?
When we speak to people thinking about roles like this, they often tell us they’re:
- Frustrated that their people and sales skills only seem to be used for profit.
- Disappointed when they’re promised a role with impact but end up just ticking boxes.
- Unsure how to build a career that blends sales confidence with a genuine purpose.
I get the impression none of these apply to you?
They do? Thought so. Well, I’ve had my 30 seconds. Give me a minute more and read on…
The role
This is a sales role but with purpose. Instead of selling products for commission, you’ll be selling opportunities: persuading employers to give people a chance, creating vacancies, and supporting candidates into work. The “product” has no cost to the employer, but your ability to influence, engage, and build trust is what makes the difference.
You’ll:
- Develop employer relationships through calls, meetings, and networking.
- Sell the benefits of opening roles to people who need a break.
- Match candidates to vacancies and prepare them with CVs, applications, and interview coaching.
- Run employability workshops that build confidence and readiness.
- Track progress, stay compliant, and celebrate every outcome.
- Support both employer and candidate to make sure the job sticks.
The person
Let me ask you:
- Do you have the confidence to sell an idea, not just a product?
- Are you motivated by hitting targets but want the outcome to mean something?
- Can you pick up the phone, influence hiring decisions, and create opportunities?
- Do you balance empathy with professionalism, knowing you represent both sides?
- Are you organised enough to manage multiple vacancies and candidate journeys?
If you’re saying yes, this is built for you.
What’s in it for you?
- Salary of £26,500 – £29,000 DOE.
- Immediate access to wellbeing tools (GP, counselling, Headspace).
- Training, tools, and structured development through our Your Career, Your Journey framework.
- Enhanced healthcare, lifestyle rewards, pension, and salary sacrifice options.
- The chance to build a career where sales skills create real social impact.
Our values
We live them every day:
- Be Ambitious: act with drive and purpose.
- Be Inspiring: empower and uplift others.
- Be Proud: take ownership and celebrate success.
- Be Considerate: collaborate and respect others.
- Own it: show up and do what’s needed.
So let’s finish with one last question:
If we could give you the chance to use your sales confidence to change lives, at no cost to the employer - is there any reason you wouldn’t apply today?
