The role
This is a teaching role - but with purpose. As a Freelance Essential Skills ICT Tutor, you’ll help young people achieve qualifications in digital skills. From online safety to workplace technology, your teaching will equip them for today’s job market.
You’ll:
- Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned to the Essential Skills curriculum.
- Deliver and assess accredited ICT qualifications.
- Build digital confidence for learners with different starting points.
- Maintain records, safeguarding and compliance standards.
- Support progression into work, training or education.
The person
Let me ask you:
- Do you have GCSE (A-C) or equivalent in English and Maths (or Level 2 Essential Skills)?
- Do you have a recognised teaching qualification in line with ES Circular 01/12?
- Have you delivered Essential Skills ICT before?
- Are you passionate about building digital confidence and employability?
