Help people move into real, sustainable jobs

At Get Set UK, we help people build the skills, confidence and stability needed to move into work.

We are delivering the Connect to Work programme across Hertfordshire, supporting people who face barriers to employment because of disability, long-term health conditions or complex life challenges.

As an Employment Specialist, you will support people in the community to find and sustain paid work. You will provide practical guidance, build relationships with employers and help participants take realistic steps towards employment.

This is purposeful, people-focused work where you can see the impact of what you do.

This role is community-based and mobile.

You will travel across the region each day to meet participants, employers and partner organisations. Meetings take place in community venues, health settings or workplaces.

  • Enjoy working with people and building trust
  • Stay organised while managing a busy caseload
  • Communicate confidently with participants and employers
  • Work independently while remaining part of a supportive team
  • Focus on practical solutions and positive outcomes

You do not need a clinical background. Transferable skills are welcome.
